These internally generated products are distinct from User Content and are generally considered proprietary information owned by HuntLine IQ.

HuntLine IQ was designed around a simple principle:

Your Hunting Log exists to help you become a better hunter—not to expose where you hunt.

Because Hunting Logs often contain highly personal hunting information, HuntLine IQ applies additional privacy protections to this information.

A. Hunting Logs Are Private by Default

Hunting Logs are private to your account unless you intentionally choose to share specific information through a platform feature that allows sharing.

By default, other HuntLine IQ users cannot browse, search, or view your private Hunting Logs.

B. What May Be Included in a Hunting Log

Depending on how you use HuntLine IQ, your Hunting Log may include information such as:

  • Hunting dates and times.
  • Wildlife observations.
  • Harvest information.
  • Trail camera observations.
  • Stand information.
  • Weather conditions.
  • Wind conditions.
  • Moon phase.
  • Notes.
  • Photographs.
  • Videos.
  • Property information.
  • Other hunting-related information you choose to record.

Not every Hunting Log contains every type of information.

C. How We Use Hunting Logs

We use Hunting Logs to:

  • Store your personal hunting history.
  • Provide Hunting Log features.
  • Improve your user experience.
  • Support analytics and platform improvements.
  • Detect fraud and abuse.
  • Maintain platform security.
  • Generate anonymous, aggregated intelligence products.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use Hunting Logs to publicly expose individual hunting activity.

D. Anonymous Intelligence

One of HuntLine IQ’s core features is transforming anonymous, aggregated patterns into useful hunting intelligence.

To accomplish this, eligible information derived from many users’ Hunting Logs may contribute to intelligence products such as:

  • Hunt Forecast™.
  • Movement Trends.
  • Hunting Pressure.
  • Rut Intelligence.
  • Seasonal wildlife activity.
  • Future intelligence products.

Before information contributes to these products, HuntLine IQ applies proprietary processing designed to reduce the likelihood that published intelligence can reasonably identify:

  • An individual user.
  • A specific Hunting Log.
  • A private hunting property.
  • A stand location.
  • A trail camera location.
  • A particular hunting event.

Not every Hunting Log, or every entry within a Hunting Log, is eligible to contribute to intelligence products.

HuntLine IQ retains sole discretion regarding what information is included, excluded, delayed, generalized, aggregated, or otherwise processed into intelligence products in accordance with our internal quality, confidence, privacy, and integrity standards.

E. What We Do Not Share

Except as described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law, HuntLine IQ does not make your private Hunting Logs available to other users.

We also do not intentionally disclose private Hunting Logs to advertisers, marketing partners, or other third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

F. Internal Access

Access to private Hunting Logs is limited to authorized personnel and systems when reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate the platform.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Protect platform security.
  • Improve platform functionality.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Internal access follows the principle of least privilege, meaning access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the authorized purpose.

G. Your Control

Subject to applicable law and legitimate operational requirements, you generally control your Hunting Logs.

Depending on platform functionality, you may be able to:

  • Create Hunting Logs.
  • Edit Hunting Logs.
  • Delete Hunting Logs.
  • Export your Hunting Log data where available.
  • Choose whether specific information is shared through optional platform features.

Certain information may be retained for limited periods as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, backup processes, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate business purposes.

H. Our Commitment

6. Photos, Trail Camera Images & AI Processing

Photographs and trail camera images are an important part of the HuntLine IQ experience.

We recognize that these images often contain sensitive information about wildlife activity, hunting properties, equipment placement, and personal hunting experiences.

For that reason, we treat uploaded images with additional care and apply privacy protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.

A. Images You Upload

Depending on how you use HuntLine IQ, you may choose to upload:

  • Detection of multiple animals.
  • Identification of empty or unusable images.

AI is used to support the platform—not to replace responsible oversight or alter factual wildlife information.

D. Image Integrity

HuntLine IQ is committed to preserving the factual integrity of uploaded images.

AI-assisted processing may improve usability, presentation, or technical quality, but it is not intended to fabricate wildlife, alter harvest results, create false observations, or misrepresent factual hunting activity.

If images are enhanced for presentation purposes, those enhancements should not intentionally change the factual content of the image.

E. Image Privacy

Private images remain subject to the privacy settings applicable to the feature through which they were uploaded.

Unless you intentionally choose to share an image through a platform feature, private images are not made available to other users.

Eligible information derived from many images may contribute to anonymous, aggregated intelligence products in accordance with HuntLine IQ’s privacy standards.

F. Internal Access

Access to uploaded images is limited to authorized personnel and systems when reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate platform features.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Review reported content.
  • Improve platform functionality.
  • Protect platform security.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Internal access follows the principle of least privilege.

G. AI Model Improvement

HuntLine IQ may use uploaded images and related information to improve the operation, accuracy, reliability, and performance of its own AI-assisted platform features and proprietary intelligence systems.

When doing so, we strive to do so in a manner consistent with our privacy commitments and applicable law.

We do not sell your uploaded images to third parties for the purpose of training their independent artificial intelligence models.

H. Metadata

Uploaded images may contain technical metadata, such as timestamps or device information.

Where appropriate, HuntLine IQ may use available metadata to:

Depending on platform functionality, you may be able to:

  • Upload images.
  • Delete images.
  • Replace images.
  • Choose whether certain images are shared.
  • Control visibility through applicable privacy settings.

Some images or related records may be retained for limited periods as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, backup processes, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate operational purposes.

J. Our Commitment

Trail camera images and hunting photographs often represent years of scouting, preparation, and personal experience.

We recognize the trust users place in HuntLine IQ when they upload those images.

Our goal is to use those images responsibly—to help improve your experience and generate meaningful, privacy-preserving intelligence without exposing your personal hunting activity or compromising your trust.

We recognize that location information is also among the most sensitive information hunters share.

For that reason, HuntLine IQ is designed to use location information to provide useful hunting intelligence while reducing the likelihood that another user can reasonably determine where you hunt.

Depending on the features you choose to use, HuntLine IQ may collect or process information such as:

  • Property locations.
  • Saved hunting properties.
  • Stand locations.
  • Trail camera locations.
  • Wildlife observation locations.
  • Harvest locations.
  • Device location (when permission is granted).
  • Approximate geographic information.
  • Location selected by the user.
  • Other location-related information necessary to provide platform functionality.

Some features may not function without location information.

B. How We Use Location Information

Protecting hunting locations is one of HuntLine IQ’s core design principles.

Accordingly, HuntLine IQ utilizes multiple privacy-preserving techniques intended to reduce the likelihood that another user can reasonably determine:

  • Where you hunt.
  • Where your property is located.
  • Where your stand is located.
  • Where your trail cameras are located.
  • Your hunting routes.
  • Your private hunting activity.

The specific methods used to accomplish this are proprietary and are not publicly disclosed.

D. Intelligence Products

Location information may contribute to anonymous, aggregated intelligence products.

Before location-derived information contributes to published intelligence, HuntLine IQ applies proprietary processing intended to reduce the likelihood that published information can reasonably identify:

Some HuntLine IQ features organize intelligence using proprietary geographic classifications, including Viewing Bands.

Viewing Bands are intended to communicate meaningful hunting intelligence while helping reduce the likelihood that precise hunting locations can be reasonably inferred.

Specific geographic methodologies remain confidential.

F. Location Permissions

Certain platform features may request permission to access your device’s location.

You may generally control location permissions through your device settings.

If location access is disabled, certain HuntLine IQ features may become unavailable or function with reduced capability.

G. Internal Access

Access to private location information is limited to authorized personnel and systems when reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate the platform.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Protect platform security.
  • Improve platform functionality.

Before information contributes to intelligence products, it may undergo proprietary processing intended to:

  • Improve reliability.
  • Improve privacy.
  • Improve statistical validity.
  • Reduce manipulation.
  • Improve platform integrity.
  • Reduce the likelihood that published intelligence can reasonably identify individual users or hunting locations.

Not all submitted information contributes to intelligence products.

HuntLine IQ retains sole discretion regarding whether and how eligible information contributes to published intelligence.

D. To Protect the Platform

We use Platform Information to:

  • Detect fraud.
  • Prevent abuse.
  • Protect user accounts.
  • Detect security threats.
  • Investigate policy violations.
  • Protect subscriptions.
  • Improve platform integrity.

Deleted Hunting Logs may remain in backups or other protected systems for limited periods consistent with our Data Retention Policy.

C. Photos & User Content
