HuntLine IQ Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

1. Purpose

HuntLine IQ respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.

This policy explains how HuntLine IQ responds to copyright complaints, intellectual property concerns, and allegations of unauthorized use of protected content.

2. Respect for Intellectual Property

Users should upload only content they:

  • Own;
  • Have permission to use;
  • Are otherwise legally authorized to share.

This applies to all User Content, including:

  • Photographs.
  • Trail camera images.
  • Videos.
  • Graphics.
  • Maps.
  • Logos.
  • Written content.
  • Other copyrighted material.

Users remain responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to submit content to HuntLine IQ.

3. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content available through HuntLine IQ infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint.

To help us evaluate your request, please include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing content.
  • Information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the content.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury where required by law, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature, where required.

Incomplete notices may delay review.

4. Our Review Process

Upon receiving a valid complaint, HuntLine IQ may:

  • Review the reported content.
  • Request additional information.
  • Temporarily remove or disable access to the content.
  • Notify the user who submitted the content.
  • Take other appropriate action consistent with applicable law.

Submission of a complaint does not automatically result in content removal.

5. Counter-Notifications

Where permitted by applicable law, users whose content has been removed based on a copyright complaint may submit a counter-notification.

If a valid counter-notification is received, HuntLine IQ may restore the content unless otherwise required by law or unless the complaining party initiates appropriate legal proceedings.

6. Repeat Infringers

HuntLine IQ may suspend or terminate accounts belonging to users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

Whether a user is considered a repeat infringer will be determined by HuntLine IQ based on the facts and circumstances of each case.

7. Other Intellectual Property

This policy is not limited to copyright.

HuntLine IQ also respects:

  • Trademarks.
  • Service marks.
  • Trade dress.
  • Trade secrets.
  • Rights of publicity.
  • Other intellectual property rights recognized under applicable law.

Reports involving these rights may also be submitted for review.

8. False or Misleading Claims

Knowingly submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading intellectual property complaints may violate applicable law and the HuntLine IQ Terms of Service.

HuntLine IQ reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding abusive reporting.
